Temptation tantalized

Tried then realized.

Rules regulations too
Empirical evidence
Teach me something new.

The trance of other dances
Glide across the floor
Is there something that I missed?
Please play one more encore.

A soupcon or a snippet
A sniff of evidence
Smoothing out the edges
Dropping the defense.

The tease and ease of touching
Electricity in the air
Supercharged by lightning
How can love, be fair.

Stretching out and feeling
A pure leap of faith
Throwing caution to the wind
Chances are it won’t be safe.

Fulsome and forgiving
Frail and fragile too
A belief in the unprovable
Beyond the tried and true.
