Live in View of Eternity

To live in view of eternity is to live and take charge of the present with the end in mind. The truth is this world is only our temporary home. We are on a journey, which requires us to take charge of the earth and win souls.

We are not going to be here forever because we are created by an eternal God who has given us His eternal nature so that when we fulfil our purpose on earth, that is, our temporary home, we will dwell with Him in His eternal kingdom.

As believers, we must not take the forgiving grace of God for granted simply because we have a forgiving God. We must not see the grace of God as permission to wallow in our sins. Rather, we must use this grace as a tool for kingdom expansion. We must always remember that we will give an account of all our actions one day.

Having a proper view of eternity will ultimately affect how we live. We must have a desire to be with the Lord in eternity. Knowing that day is guaranteed should give us the courage to keep fulfilling the mission God has given to us.
