Wish I had Snow Days!

It is beautiful outside! It is a little after 9am in the morning and we already have a little over a inch of snow out there. It is supposed to continue to snowing hard through the afternoon. 6 inches or so expected! Everyone in my house has a snow day except for me. I have to work from home. See my work from home set up on my junk filled dining room table! Being able to work from home is great but I wish I could have a snow day too!

But enough crying about not having a day off. I have a good job and I am grateful for it!

One of the things I am trying to stop drinking alcohol for 100 days. Day 100 would hit on June 8th for me. It seems so far away! I have been thinking of taking a long break from alcohol for a long time. It is going to be hard for me as alcohol is everywhere in my life right now. We have happy hour every Friday at my work then it is my husband and I’s normal Friday night routine to share some drinks while we watch tv and chill after our long weeks at work. I am going to make a lot of weekend changes to meet this 100 day challenge. The weekdays won’t be hard. I thought that maybe putting what I am going through out here may help me to stick to my plan and develop the new habits needed to do what I am trying to do. I want to feel better and save some money and learn to enjoy life without the crutch of alcohol.
