DLT A HUGE OPPORTUNITY FOR ECONOMIES ESPECIALLY TO EMERGE COUNTRIES

2017 was maybe the most relevant year to cryptocurrencies a full roaller coaster for investors, followers and even to exeptical people. An uncountable number of tokens was launched. Day by day new rich people appeared and also new scams too. People in Asia and Latin America identified a new way to rise funds, to invest their savings and started to build new wonderfull business all around coins and tokens.

But 2018 things have been changing and the huge number of ICOs start to reduce or even dessapear, many barriers result to be strongers than all people thought at the beginning. Regulations, scalability, expensive fees and criticism of environmentalists cause by energy use to minning all those coins have changed the prospect to the ecosystem.

Nevertheless, the oportunity just started. DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) is much more than just tradding cryptocurrencies, more than inspirational articles, papers and conferences about decentralized solutions, trust data and frictionless process. The opportunity to speculate is over, but the new wave is beggining for many people; visionaries, scient enterpreneurals, technicians, engineers, coders and if you see carefully almost for all professionals who wants to be envolved around technology.

Through history in emerging countries have been easier copy or buy than develop new technology to solve specific problems. Is common see startups or companies trying to deploy a lot of kind of marketplaces or many solutions that emulated the UBER model. Some of them result in awesome success, but the majority of this solutions doesn´t work as well like pople would wish. A succesful business model needs more than be a copy and it is the reason to faill or just die sometimes even before to start. Problems, cultures and also people expectatives are so differents if we compare developed countries with ours. All this aspects make that we need different strategies and own development.

This is the moment when DLT with open source can help us to build new solutions, cheaper than even before, without high patents costs, with the same information that researchers of all the world has available. Emerging economies can became more competitives and achieve new standards.
The road be as long and hard as society want, this is more than connect devices and attach information to DLT and then share it in trustly way. Is more than just imagine and dream with new solutions. The true is community needs work together and integrate different technologies, DLT by itself couln´t be enough succesful, the trustly data don´t solve analytics problems, business models issues and industrial convergences. The behaivor of world is systemic, true data is so valuable as the analisis, but integrate them in one solution could mean the next step not only for emerge countries, maybe it could be a new status quo for all.
