Luckily I found a few tips and tricks to help you save money in your favourite stores.

1. ALWAYS subscribe to the email list

Yeah I know email uhg… why subscribe to all that junk mail?! You already have enough emails coming your way as it is but trust me on this one guys. Companies will probably annoy you with notifications and send you multiple emails a day on their new store opening and collection but they also send additional coupons. Yes, you heard me additional coupons on top of in store promotions!! I know for myself every time I plan a shopping trip I always make sure to go through my emails and find additional coupons! Every few day’s companies that you’re subscribed to will send you promotions that are exclusively for email subscribers. So start signing up to get emails from your favourite stores and save the ones you will use!!

3. Don’t be afraid to ask

Never be afraid to ask an associate for extra information. Who knows? Maybe they can give you extra information on their promotions! In addition, if you’re a student I highly recommend you ask the associates if the store gives student discounts. You’d be surprised on how many actually do.

4. Be patient

Now if you’re like me being patient isn’t necessarily you’re forte…. Although over the years if there is one thing I have learnt with money is to be patient! It’s not all the time that the latest collection will have a promotion or be on sale… However with time the price will go down. And by time I mean no more than a few weeks. So really what’s the rush in waiting a few extra weeks before owning those Steve madden shoes you’ve been wanting.

And if all else fails I promise you with time prices will go down to your budget in the near future.
